I'm so glad that there was a break in the weather so that all of the puppies could come over yesterday. I have a good time trying to get photos of them. They make it hard, though -- I can't walk without worrying about stepping on puppies, they grab the camera strap if it gets within reach, and they hang off of my jacket and jeans and shoelaces. I actually got the Sunny yellow boy and Mr. Peabody off the ground a bit simply by raising my arm when they were attached. Sigh, I love puppies....
The first puppy out to explore was the new arrival from Sweden, Knife.

After a few lessons in his name (and English!), the seven Heart puppies joined the strapping Viking lad. He's like the star football player surrounded by band members since he has that huge 3-week age advantage.

Pink girl Sharpy knocked her very first agility jump bar, although it probably won't be her last. She did the limbo well on the first pass as she wandered around the field, but then took it down on her return trip under it. It didn't faze her in the least.

Whenever there was a hint of danger, the puppies headed for safety under the van. What could this danger be?
Ack! Two Gordon Setters had invaded! But the puppies quickly emerged to check out the strangers. Belgian Sheepdogs love Gordon Setters, you know.
Mr. Peabody was particularly brave when the Gordon Girls were locked up for a few moments. Zelda growled at him and he just barked back at her. Zelda's growling isn't very intimidating to most dogs and not even this baby puppy. She gets no respect.
But soon all of the dogs were comfortable with each other, although Knife also barked at Zelda (until she looked at him and he ran away).

My visit with the puppies ended as it always does: they all fell asleep. A tired puppy is a good puppy. It is always an exciting day with the Gordon Girls.
